R&K's Tales & Treasures — A Reading Circle for Young Minds

A curated literary circle founded in Hiranandani Estate for a select group of children aged 3.5 to 7, for families who see reading not as an exercise, but as an heirloom. Membership is intentionally limited, by reservation. Inaugural gathering: Saturday, 1st August 2026, 5:30-7:00pm — theme "Kindness, Sharing & Caring for Our World", featuring Tree for Everyone and The Tiger Who Came for Tea. This first session is with our compliments. As the circle grows, so will its offerings: garden readings, visits from storytellers, and a rotating reading list shaped by our youngest members' own recommendations. We would be delighted to welcome your child as a founding member.

📖 R&K's Reading Circle – Tales & Treasures presents a special reading of Road to Rezang La — an inspiring story based on the legendary Battle of Rezang La, where 120 Indian soldiers stood their ground against overwhelming odds to defend a strategic mountain pass in Ladakh. As we turn the pages, we hope to introduce our children to the quieter meaning of patriotism — courage in difficult moments, standing together, and remembering those who serve selflessly. "जो भरा नहीं है भावों से, जिसमें बहती रसधार नहीं, वह हृदय नहीं है पत्थर है, जिसमें स्वदेश का प्यार नहीं।" 🇮🇳 — मैथिलीशरण गुप्त The reading will be followed by a special postcard activity for our soldiers. 💌 Each child will create a small note of gratitude — a drawing, a few words, or simply a heartfelt "Jai Hind 🇮🇳" — because sometimes the smallest messages carry the greatest warmth. 15 August | Saturday | 5:30 PM 📍 1804, Pelican 👧👦 Age 3+

This week we're traveling to London with a beloved global classic: The Adventures of Paddington Bear. From bustling London streets to exciting discoveries, Paddington's adventures show children that being curious, brave and kind can lead to wonderful experiences. Activity: Paddington's Marmalade Adventure — each child gets a mini suitcase of picture cards, picks any 3, decides where Paddington travels, imagines what happens on the journey, discovers what he finds, and shares their adventure with the group. Encourages storytelling, problem-solving, creativity and public speaking in a warm, supportive setting.
