Built by parents, for other parents.
Roundhere started the way most parent projects do, with a WhatsApp group. A few of us kept asking each other the same Saturday-morning question: "where can I take my child today?" The answers were gold, but they kept scrolling away into chat history.
So we're putting them somewhere permanent. Places marked with a green "Walked & verified" stamp have been physically visited by one of us. We check the hours, the prices, the stroller access, and whether the staff are the kind who smile at a toddler mid-meltdown. We're working through the rest of the directory now, and every place says clearly where it stands.
We're starting with what families actually search for: indoor play, libraries & toy libraries, birthday venues and weekend experiences, for children aged 0–12. More neighborhoods and more depth will come as the community grows across Mumbai.
Our directory is built from two sources: places we've personally walked into and verified (marked with a green stamp and a date), and places we've researched but haven't visited yet (marked "not yet verified"). We'd rather tell you honestly which is which than pretend we've been everywhere.
The green stamp only appears once a parent has actually been there, not from a website or a phone call.
Notes on verified places are written by parents, for parents. No brochure language.
Not-yet-verified places say so, clearly, until someone's walked in and checked.
